thanks joanne - you should drop in & see what everybody's up to, we've all gone a bit mad I think! Tony's created a truly vast array of thong-related works, Lyn & Kerry are doing cool indescribable shapey things in the corner, sue-ellen is making tree-inspired stuff that manages to look simultaneously like welded steel sculpture and people doing yogic (or questionable!) things, Denise is pushing boundaries all over the place with bowls that aren't and zigzaggy somethings, Judy has been working nonstop on tree skeletons made of circles, Leisl is making rocks and corals, Louise is making filigree bottles, Sheridyn is apparently creating an entire ocean ecosystem ...

I love reading your progress reports and love the magnolias. I miss the course but it sounds like I would have been too challenged to meet with all the deadlines. Say hi to everyone for me. I have to come up to Kempsey TAFE to collect a couple of paintings over the next couple of weeks so might see you then.

ROTFLOL ... I like it too ...

but now I have this disturbing mental image that came to me when I thought of all the times when I (or the cat) knock the bobbin(s)on the floor ... one, or more, fuzzy (or even bald?!) "pink bits" kind of rolling all around the floor underfoot ... omg - that is just too weird - so weird that I kind of LIKE it as a quilt idea or somesuch - LOL

(btw, I also have long gaps between reading blogs - but my gaps are at different times for different blogs - trouble is I try and read too many, and/or get lost for hours in one or 5 that I kind of fell over, then take ages to get around to checking the ones I "follow" and/or know I want to go and read, but always seem to check a lot less often than i intend to ... or something like that ... )

That is beyond awesome. I'd long suspected that sewing machines had 'taints, but I had no idea where they were. Now that I know, I'll wear gloves when I have to service that area.
